Shayna, Emma and Angela were great hosts and guides, the staff was awesome and the Chef is GREAT! Safe and delicious place for vegans! The game drives were very nice and fun, the girls know their bush! We got to see the big five in only 2 days. The cabin was nice and cozy, even though it gets pretty hot during the day (at night it becomes bearable with the fan on). Good hot shower! The elephants in the pool are breathtaking and the highlight of this amazing place.

Kapama River Lodges offers a range of air-conditioned suites, all stylishly furnished and set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains. Each suite has a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower and is complete with complimentary amenities, such as a minibar and coffee machine. Stunning place! The staff were absolutely amazing – we had a couple of requests and they handled everything flawlessly and without hesitation. Truly outstanding service! We absolutely loved our stay here - the food is tasty and we saw a lot of animals during the game drives! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. We will gladly recommend this place to everybody!

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Our stay at Muweti Bush Lodge was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Hardus, one of the staff members, was incredible—so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. He even made us the most amazing ostrich stir fry, which ended up being one of our favorite meals of our entire South Africa trip! The lodge itself is even more beautiful than the photos online. They honestly don’t do it justice. Everything was spotless, and the tented rooms were super secure and well-insulated, making us feel safe and comfortable while still feeling close to nature. The game drives were beyond anything we expected. We saw so much incredible wildlife up close, and every drive felt like a new adventure. Our most memorable moment was watching a pride of lions try to hunt a baby elephant! If you're looking for a perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and genuine hospitality, Muweti Bush Lodge is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Naledi Lodges lies within the Balule Game Reserve and is located 25 km from Hoedspruit. It boasts panoramic views of the African savannah and features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

The units feature views of the pool or mountain and each air-conditioned unit is fitted with a safe, fan and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Some units have a seating area and private pool. Our stay at Naledi was simply magical. The lodge had a beautiful location right in the bush, was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable. All of the staff were incredibly kind and committed to personalizing our stay to get the best experience possible. The trackers did an excellent job of finding and getting close to animals during the game drives. Whenever possible, we got to spend several minutes in silence marveling at lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and other animals just a few meters away from us. We're still thinking and talking about the incredible moments we experienced during our stay and will highly recommend Naledi to everyone who's looking for a sustainable, close-up, and comfortable safari experience.

Pondoro has three architecturally designed chalets overlooking the Olifants River. Each chalet has been beautifully decorated with an African theme. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms (with a shower and bath overlooking the river), lounge area, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and a wooden deck. To the Pondoro staff and in particular our guide Dewald and tracker Andres, thank you for the unforgettable experience! Dewald and Andres were very knowledgeable about wildlife, and we got to see the big 5 - including a leopard poised on a tree with its kill - and many other animals up close over a 4 day tour. Back at the lodge, everything from food to room had a personal touch. The kitchen did amazing breakfast (avo toast and Pondoro breakfast were our favourites) and exceptional starters, and the rooms were cleaned 2-3 times a day with a personal pick me up note each time. Truly a stellar experience!

The airy lodges at the Motswari Private Game Reserve feature thatched roofs, each equipped with air conditioning and unrivalled savannah views from large wooden decks. They combine traditional décor with a designer touch and include a lounge and bathrooms with bathtub. The staff was amazing! Made you feel like family! Place was beautiful! Every detail was thought out! Amazing experience!
