Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. It’s very well located, we where well received by the host. Gave us support, as we had some issues with our car and waited after the check in hours! Awesome space and view! And the best part the dogs 😁

Boasting panoramic views over the valleys and mountains, Muluwa Lodge is located just 10 minutes' drive from White River and the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The room was spacious, clean and peaceful, the view was spectacular, you feel 100% freedom. Really enjoyed the everything including the perfect dinner and continental breakfast. The staff (Antoniette) and management were always helpful. We stayed only for a night but wished we could have stayed longer. We took some photos with zebras.

The lodge really exceeded all our expectations! We had a great stay. It has breathtaking views from executive room. The rooms have excellent design, comfortable and clean. The hosts are nice. This lodge is a must-visit on a trip to Kruger park or back just for relaxing. I very rarely rate hotels as 10, but this is one of the few.

You can opt for self catering and the provision for that is outstanding - or do what we did, used the restaurant on site. They will also bring the restaurant to your tent and you just order from the menu! Every evening there was a full turn down service so that your tent was warm and cosy and heating, including electric blankets supplied. Our stay was in August so chilly at night. Our tent was in front of the river and every evening we lit a fire and gazed at the stunning night sky. An absolutely clear sky and we could switch off the main light switch to facilitate this. Though remote we had excellent wifi facilities. The staff were superb hosts and made sure every expectation of our stay was met and more. When we received our joining instructions and realised our little car would struggle with the road to Mbizane, a member of staff gave us secure parking at her home and took us to the site with all our luggage. We really appreciated this as the road is challenging. However, with the option to get a lift on a 4x4 vehicle this was no longer a problem.

Muunga Bush Lodge is in a very unique location in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. I could sit by the pool and watch birds fly by or, nyala and warthogs wonder by. There are nice walking trails that take you to waterholes with hides for viewing animals. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners my entire stay. The Lodge and outside areas are beautifully decorated. There are a number of local magazines, bird and animals books available for reading. I definitely recommend Muunga if you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Super pleasant and uncomplicated communication with the lodge. Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! Thank you very much for this great experience - we enjoyed every second and are already looking forward to our next trip to South Africa.

Our stay was marked by exceptional hospitality and genuine attention to detail. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Even a small mix-up regarding the nearest airport was quickly resolved with their help, as they recommended a car rental that worked perfectly for us. We arrived hungry after lunchtime and were immediately offered a quick meal, followed by a delicious dinner served in our room. My wife, who is five months pregnant, received outstanding care throughout our stay - from meals tailored to her dietary restrictions to special attention during tours, including extra blankets and more comfortable seating. The hotel also stands out for offering excellent non-alcoholic beverage options, which was a meaningful touch for us. The accommodations are flawless: comfortable, clean, modern, and with thoughtful details like pre-warmed sheets waiting for us after excursions. Our guided tour to Kruger National Park was led by a knowledgeable guide who made the experience even more enriching. Upon returning, our room was always tidy and welcoming. It was a memorable experience, defined by warmth, comfort, and attention to every detail. We highly recommend it
