Reception at the Plough Inn was friendly and welcoming, immersing us straigth away in the local atmosphere of the pub. The rooms were above expectation with separate seating area and well appointed bathroom provided. All immaculately appointed and cleaned to perfection. The pub setting for dinner is absolutely perfect, providing the opportunity to talk to the locals and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Hostess Marianne taking care of front-of-house is charming and convivial, making us feel at home straight away, while paving the way for the excellent dishes prepared by husband and chef Richard, assuring us of an excellent dining experience. The best review I can give is that I'll be certain to go back to the Plough Inn whenever I am in the area next!

The apartment was lovely and clean, and had all that we needed. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the location was excellent - just a short walk from the castle and from the town centre. The communication from Dee was also excellent, thank you Dee!

Foxton Lodge is a beautiful spacious clean property with lovely owners focused on their guest’s enjoyment. So much space in the lodge and well equipped. Bathrooms are huge with a bath (shower over) in one and large shower in the other. Plenty of space for parking. Cardio equipment in the shared gym was a high standard. Shared games room including pool table was great for a chilled night onsite. Easy 15 minute walk to the station and shops within 10 minutes walk. Property is also well heated. Beds really comfortable. Nothing bad to say about this place. Would go back.

Fabulous House in a great location. We all enjoyed the hot tub and our three year old granddaughter loved running around the garden. Ideal to have all bedrooms with ensuite. We loved the military canal walks - a bit more sheltered on a windy day and we walked right into Hythe, which didn't disappoint, Also made use of the BBQ and the sunny spells between the showers! Would certainly recommend, as we all had a fabulous weekend.
