Excellent location, unbelievably friendly and good staff! Nice rooms and super good food. Private beach and live program on several evenings! We had super good and relaxing 7 days, pure bliss.

The staff was exceptionally pleasant, cooperative & helpful. I have not seen such professional, helpful & great staff anywhere in the world and I have visited dozens of countries. Petra (the manager), Juice (the chief cheff), all the reception, housekeeping, restaurant staff, I mean they are all from heaven...they'll die to help you & make you comfortable & 😊. The property and grounds were so clean. Beautiful hotel with nice view and nice restaurants. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Villa Beach front

We loved absolutely everything! The staff were so-so kind and helpful, food tasted amazing and there was always so many different types of it. Air conditioning was better than any else hotel we have visited in Africa or Asia and rooms were clean, big and nice. We also loved the pool area where you can get literally everything you want- deeper and lower water, sunshine and not if you've had enough of it already. And best coctails in pool bar!! We had already booked another hotel too before our trip to Zanzibar (a bit more expensive one actually) and we regretted this decision every day and wished we had spent our whole trip in Zanzibar in TOA's hotel.

This hotel is simply amazing! It’s incredibly clean, the staff is beyond friendly, and they make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food is always fresh, healthy, and offers a great variety—there’s something delicious for everyone. The highlight? Coco, the playful little monkey who brings so much joy! Watching him all day adds a unique charm to this already perfect place. If you’re looking for the best stay in Zanzibar, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!

The existing reviews stating how great this place is are not wrong! Chosen for this reason, we were not disappointed! Tikitams is, without doubt, five star. The staff do everything they can to welcome you and attend to your every need. The hotel is quite remote and certainly not for those looking for exciting nightlife. It's quiet and, most evenings, everyone was back in their rooms by 9pm. But if you're looking for quiet and calmness, where all you hear are the sounds of monkeys and bush babies, this is the place for you. The food is delicious and there is good variety. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Someone comes in every evening to turn down the bed. Afternoon tea is served every day at 5pm. The bar is a lovely space and cocktails and beer reasonably priced. We were offered a complimentary face, neck and back massage at the spa which was a real treat and outstanding. The staff are amazing. Two examples: 1. We were going on an excursion that involved swimming. Knowing pool towels were provided at the hotel, we had not brought our own. Unsure what we could take for excursion, we planned to ask at reception prior to leaving. We got to reception, ready to depart, and there was the receptionist with towels, anticipating our need without our even asking. 2. We wanted to use the pool table just off the restaurant. It is outside. When we got there, there was a large flying insect sitting on the table top. I got pool cue to encourage it to fly away. From out of the shadows, a massai warrior (I kid you not; they are the security team for the hotel) appeared, removed said insect, and disappeared into the shadows again. Not sure if he continued to observe our bad pool-playing or not because he was undetectable again. All you hear from all who work at Tikitams is 'You're welcome!' and 'Makuna matata'. We had a fantastic four days! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all!

Evrything...The staff, the view, the garden, the pool...evrything The staff was very friendly and attentive (especially the lady who served the breakfest evry morning, she knew the coffee order day by day) thanks a lot. Management was also friendly so I realy appreciate it. So it was a perfect holiday!
