My family and I stayed at the Green cottage. It was such a fantastic stay and wished it could have been longer. The cottage itself is idyllic and charming with the interior design very well thought of. It is very clean, warm and comfortable. The view is amazing too, and if you're lucky, you'd get to see a few cows grazing in the early morning just a few meters away from the property. The backgarden is huge where little tots could play and run. The host, Ann Marie, is very welcoming and kind. She made sure to send detailed instructions from finding the place to getting in. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we would definitely be back. We're back in Dublin now but we've already recommended this place to our family and friends.

The homestay offers mountain views and a picnic area. We loved absolutely everything: imagine you're going to stay with your favourite aunty, that's what Creevagh feels like. A lovely warm welcome but aunty let you just relax without plying you with loads of questions about "school"! Your room is perfectly clean and everything is interesting, from the little ornaments, to the nice smelly things and the beautiful view of the ocean that you watch from the rocking chair. Little snacks have been left in your room and a carton of juice 😊 Thanks for having us!

The lady that welcomed us was lovely. She prepared for us breakfast a little before official start time because we were in a hurry. Room was clean and cozy.

The breakfast was lovely, with a full choice of options, including a full Irish breakfast (which I had on most mornings!). The tea station on the landing was also a very nice touch. Thank you for the biscuit selection as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and will stay again next time we are visiting.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially enjoyed in the glass-covered patio, which makes even stormy days feel cosy and special. But the real magic here is the people. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with locals and travellers alike enjoying this little place of paradise. And then there’s Rolf - the owner and heart of the place - whose kindness, humour, and dedication make you feel less like a guest and more like an “old” friend. We’ll be back the first chance we get. Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. Dating back to 1845, this contemporary country house hotel boasts free WiFi and free parking. I have booked for both my friend and I so its a bit of a repeat but with some Additions Location, courtesy of staff, activities like falconry and walking the woods with wolfhounds was magical. Staff coordinated among each other like a well tuned team so kudos You never have to ask twice Fabulous food on the lodge and restaurants 10/10 Especially having stayed in other hotels this trip I can easily say this is THE BEST
