Stayed in the train and it was more spacious than original thought. LOVED the view from the windows. Kids loved the countryside. Beds were comfortable and the aircon was a plus. Super close to the caves.

We were really pleased with our little ensuite room. Nicely decorated in a shabby chic style. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable and it was all spotlessly clean. Outside the window were lavender plants so we had a lovely scent coming in. Stored our ice blocks in the communal kitchen freezer and ate at the pub/restaurant next door which was really good food. Delighted with the tiny town, ate breakfast at Fat Pigeon which was also lovely food.

Just 200 metres from Otorohanga’s cafes, restaurants and shops, Palm Court Motel offers accommodation with cooking facilities. Guests enjoy free WiFi.

Customer service was very helpful and the lady that checked me in and out, showed a genuine interest in making my stay as enjoyable as possible.
