Property was easy to miss, if I hadn't checked it out on Google Maps! A quiet location with a beautiful water outlook in a very pretty town. Kitchen adequate, and rooms a good size. Sunset Motel does have lovely sunsets!

Pet friendly and squeaky clean. Their tag is a piece of paradise and we couldn't agree more. We went to Thames to have a quiet break and we had that in Sunset motel.

Stay was for an early Thames Hospital surgery, original surgery was postponed and Shortland Court Motel kindly transferred our booking at no cost to our replacement appointment, that did go ahead. This kindness was very much appreciated, thank you heaps.

My kind of place to just be in the moment. Easiest check in I've experienced. Beautiful sunsets, good facilities for an excellent stay and a rock hounds treasure trove. Friendly staff and tidy quarters making Sunset Motel a personal favourite.

Although the motel is slightly out of town, the location right on the bay was beautiful and staff were more than helpful.

Unfortunately we did not like this accommodation, yes it was a motel and maybe not suitable for us. Was a clean unit but very outdated.

It was at the end of the line of housing very close to the beach, so was quiet at this time of year. The beds were OK and it was reasonably priced. A utility motel.
