The motel is perfectly positioned for guests to explore the Flinders Rangers, the largest mountain range in South Australia. Also on offer is free parking. I stayed in the king room, which was very spacious and had a great bed! It was super clean. It has everything you need: fridge, microwave, plenty of room for your bags/suitcases, tv. There is also a free laundry! You will probably meet the lovely house cat there! I booked an extra night because of the room, the staff and the location. Paul is very friendly and made me feel very welcome and gave a lot of information and tips about things to do in the area (it’s beautiful in and around Quorn!) Amy and Kylie where also very friendly! Motel Strath is a 10-minute walk from the historical Strathalbyn Police Station. It is a 20-minute drive from Langhorne Creek, and a 40-minute drive from Adelaide’s central business district. The Aldinga Beach is a 50-minute drive away. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was also so spacious, new and had a jetted bathtub which all of us loved. All the amenities were available. Being a "motel", I really did not expect it to be so nice. Parking at doorstep is also very convenient.
