The East Rock inn is set at the end of the long driveway in a much quieter, green area with a nice lawn with chairs to relax. The check-in process is super easy. I find it very relaxing not having to deal with staff. The code to your door also gives you access to a common room with some amenities. The room was modern, clean, spacious, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the amenities that you needed like fridge, safe and kettle.

The room was quiet, and well equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, nice clean towels and good size bathroom!, Although the motel was fully booked there was plenty of room for breakfast either in the breakfast room or taking it to your room!. The continental breakfast was well stocked with hot and cold selection. If some items ran low it was quickly replenished!! The owners made you feel very welcome and open to advising the best routes to places of interest!
