At first I was slightly uneased by the price of the night for 3 people, but after experiencing the onsen, the amazing dinner, and exceptional breakfast combined with top notch staff, I must say, the price is very well worth it. Food was superb, and the quality of the onsen was unbelievable - rivaling that of Beppu onsens known through Japan. Not to mention the exceptional accessibility options should the guest be differently abled - 2 very wide elevators, appropriately sloped ground, no bumps going through the rooms.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. The lodging was excellent with the ultimate Japanese experience. The room had every immensity possible and the bed was really comfortable. We would differently stay here again.

The building has a great atmosphere, very welcoming. Very helpful personal. Spotlessly clean. And the onsen is great for soaking away jetlag. Close enough to Hakone for a daytrip.

恋人岬から33kmの横川温泉湯殿ととのゆは下田市にある宿泊施設で、庭、無料専用駐車場、共用ラウンジを提供しています。この旅館は無料WiFiを提供しており、修禅寺まで約42km、修善寺虹の郷まで約44kmです。サウナとホットタブがあり、山の景色が望めます。... We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves….
