The room was clean and equipped with all the amenities you might need, offered free of charge. The complimentary shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko train station is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji because of the weather, but this hotel is definitely a must!

Had a shuttle car take me from the train station. Getting around the lake from there is very nice, either with bus, or your own transportation method. The staff were really nice! The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and big traditional services. My room was very nice with a lovely view. I also used the public bath and it was lovely, looks nice, great view, well maintained and clean.

Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. Exceptional hotel. Beautiful location. Loved every minute of it. We dined there. The French menu is a work of art and incredibly delicious. The shabu shabu was excellent. And the people working there are the best.

Location: Very close to the city center, compared with the few 5-star hotels in the same region which are more difficult to get to. Easy taxi ride from Kawaguchiko train station; hotel provides a free pickup upon arrival. Without luggage, one can easily bike between the hotel and the train station. Within walking distance (just walk over the Kawaguchiko Bridge) to Ubuyagasaki Shrine which is a top venue to watch the Fuji Mountain during sunrise. Room: Comfortable and luxurious; newly remodeled with modern facilities yet preserves the traditional Japanese onsen styles. Particularly impressed by the bathroom, indoor bath, and the private outdoor hot tub! Privacy: This onsen pays great attention to offering privacy to guests. Not only did the rooms feel this way, check-in and checkout as well as the breakfast experience were all private. Breakfast: More than amazing!!!

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. The staff was the best Huge clean and comfortable room. Loved everything

Guests can use the sauna and the hot spring bath, or enjoy mountain views. Service was extremely thoughtful! The server who checked us in escorted us to our room, and even tidied our shoes! At keiseki dinner and breakfast, as a family with kids, the service was very polished, and the server really could anticipate our needs and acted proactively, to the point of surprising us! The meals were elaborate and of extremely high quality. Both the public onsen and the private in-room onsen were excellent. And of course, the view of Mount Fuji was super impressive! All Fufu hotels are designed with maximum customer privacy in mind. While the hotel is not right next to the coast of Lake Kawaguchiko but is instead "hidden" in a valley, the feeling of being inside a forest yet with Mount Fuji still highly visible, the picture is really surprisingly next level! A perfect, perfect stay overall!
