Hotel location was perfect for access to the ski lift. All the staff were so friendly and helpful,we were met with a very friendly welcome upon arrival. The lady on the bar always remembered what drinks we liked. The staff in the dining room were excellent as was the food! The buffet style breakfast was huge and varied. We arrived on Christmas Eve and enjoyed a Gala Dinner…..amazing!

Great property but a little stressful to actually locate. Booking.com needs a better map pin placement and our host needs to show a picture of the the road junction up the property who is high above the road heading south into Obergurgl.

The Chief makes an outstanding and well-balanced menu. I feel like I'm in a Michelin-star restaurant, and skiing is an optional bonus 😅. Of course, the whole experience is well organized. From the moment you wake up seeing mountains, through a wonderful breakfast, then going to the ski room and the lift to enjoying mountains the whole day. You can have a snack in the hotel or eat on the hill. And after skiing, in the sauna, you relax and enjoy your life in another way. In the evening, the restaurant menu and service will make unforgettable memories.

    very helpfull and friendly staff, great tasty food, big tidy rooms with nice bathroom and sauna (!), great beds, great terras with marvellous view, ski locker is very easy accesible, you are very close to one of the main lifts (50 m walk + stairs), returning from ski, you have slopes directly to the hotel, good welness facilities, after ski-hut in front of hotel is very nice and great plus, great location in the ski-area, elaborated wine cellar, easy parking,
