We loved everything about this hotel! We could check in early which was super convenient, the staff was super helpful, the breakfast was delicious and of good quality, and the metro station was only a few minutes away and 15 15-minute ride from the centre. Would come back for sure!

Staff went above and beyond to assist with any questions or requests that we may have had. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Exceptional location allowed us the privilege to walk to sightsee and visit much of what this beautiful city has to offer… we even walked to the opera in our Sunday best (with a stop for dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant recommended by outstanding concierge team at the Almanac). The hotel is beautiful and magestic with a bit of a modern flair. The restaurant has lovely breakfasts and lunches (we didn’t experience dinner). The room is extremely comfortable and the bed heavenly. We can’t wait to return, it is definitely our recommendation when visiting Vienna.

Great location right at the water: 1min walk to supermarket, 5min to subway station, and less than 10min to Donaupark. Perfect for a family with kids. Apartment was beautifully furnished and came with everything we needed (washing machine and dishwasher were so useful). The guys managing the property were friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to stay here again!

I liked that the hotel is new, that the rooms are nice and clean. Due to good metro connections, the hotel is not far from the center and the main attractions of the city. Sound insulation is excellent and you cannot hear other guests from neighboring rooms. A very ugly thing happened to me during my stay in Vienna; a thief stole my wallet at the train station and took all my money. It was a lot of stress for my mom and me, and our vacation was ruined. There was no point in staying in Vienna in such a nervous breakdown, so we told the hotel staff what happened to us and asked if we could leave two days earlier and get a refund for those two nights. They agreed without any questions and we are very grateful for that. Their kindness and understanding meant more to us than the certainly wonderful ambience of the hotel. All recommendations for Bassena hotel. They are great! You won’t regret :)

Hotel is beautiful and nicely decorated. Rooms are nice and spacious. I booked the grand deluxe room. The restaurant is also very nice and serves nice food. Apparently it’s one of the new hang out spots. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I was greeted in my room with a bottle of wine, macaroons, and a nice note. As for the location, it was super. I walked everywhere which was very convenient. I would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again there if and when I’m back in Vienna.

The space was very clean, modern, cozy. There was 2 bathrooms, which is great when everybody is in a hurry. The mattress was excellent! We had excellent coffee and tea. I was amazed seeing a washmaschine and even laundry detergent.
