If anybody wanted an example of how to set up a b&b this is it. Every detail to make your stay comfortable has been thought out carefully. The bedroom is large and bed v comfortable and bathroom also spacious (huge shower cubicle). The pool was heated and a good size for a decent swim. The tv has Netflix and Utube. The bedroom has a good sized sink and plenty of utensils if you wish to bring food in. Great to be able to do our laundry after 2 weeks of travel VERY Highly recommended.

We didn't know what to expect but on arrival we were were just "wowed " with what we experienced! The cabin we stayed in was a step back in time and the grounds and Rose garden were sensational 👌 . Would definitely recommend a stop here if you want to experience some Australian history .

Flexible late booking as really appreciated. Love that the hotel has retained its old world harm on the outside but the rooms are freshly renovated and modern on the inside. Well done. Will stay there again next time I'm in Longford.

Excellent self service system supported by excellent information and staff when required. Small details like milk in the fridge, welcome package of crackers and cheese and some drinks made us feel really welcome. The house itself and the room we had was also beautiful and homely. We recommend it to everyone and we would come back here would we ever go back to Tasmania.

The staff is very helpful, and instantly response our requests. It's a heritage hotel on a high hill with great location and view. We stay the hotel twice, the whole family loves Waratah On York. Will definitely come back again.

Didn't even have to hesitate to give 10/10 for this stay. Accommodation is very well equipped, the layout of the rooms is great, bathroom facilities were absolutely clean, breakfast delicious. We especially liked that everything was already there in the room and we were able to set the table for ourselves in the comfort of our room. Was a delight to meet the hosts and would like to thank here again for the good travel tips. Oh and it was great to come back home and be greeted by two adorable dogs!
