This hotel is Shanghai's best kept secret. If you need to stay north of the city, stay here. It feels like a miniature Disneyland. Pictures of the grand staircase are accurate and do not disappoint. Staff checking in told me that the rate for my room had changed -- it had actually become *cheaper* relative to what I booked. They spent a half hour trying to get me the cheaper room rate -- outstanding. The bedroom was luxurious, like staying in a palace. Largest bed I've ever seen -- 1.5x wider than it was long. Short walk from Baoyang Rd metro station. Maybe a half hour to get back to the city on the metro, so not too long though it feels long the first time! Mall next door has food and other amenities. Breakfast was delicious. This was the best hotel I stayed in for the price during my last trip to China.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel! The experience was truly delightful from start to finish. The breakfast was a standout, especially the excellent Chinese options which were fresh and delicious. The room was spacious, immaculately cleaned, and offered a beautiful view which made it even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and excellent service!

Extremely good value for money in a prime location. 300 m away from People Square subway station and the pedestrian zone. I had a full apartment with a living room a kitchen with a washing machine and a bedroom with a king size bed. Breakfast was outstanding.

Everything was perfect from the very begining. Lisa is such a wonderful host, she helped with everything and covered all my needs. I had a nice shuttle from airport even tho the flight was 2 hours late. At the facilities Lisa met me and had shown me my room and explained all the rules clearly.

Really comfy private room! Excellent shower, perfect mattress and the movies on demand on the tv were easy to access and watch. But most of all, the helpful friendly staff! Always around, polite and kind. Nice coffee and a great beer selection too!

Excellent location. In a quiet area overlooking Suzhou Creek. A short <10 minute walk to Nanjing Road. Spacious apartments which are well equipped. The apartments include a washer-dryer which was very helpful. Good wifi. Useful convenience store downstairs. Staff (Simon, Vivien) were readily available, and were very helpful and accommodating.

There are 2 dining options on site. There is a signature Japanese restaurant YONE on the 27th floor and a brasserie style all-day dining restaurant Shanghai Tavern, 3 lounge bars and 2 rooftop bars.
