Such a peaceful place. The staff is so kind and helpful (you're the best, Carlos!) and the location is unbeatable. We swam in the pool, hiked the trails, and enjoyed the tranquility of the cabin. The cabins are well-built and cozy. We had a 4x2, not a 4x4, and had no problem getting up the road to the property. I would love to visit again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to disappear in nature for a few days. (The wifi also worked wonderfully if you don't want to disconnect completely).

An excellent place to stay in the area, especially if you are there for the birding. Much more affordable than similar birding lodges in the area, and very close to Tayutic Mountain Reserve (which I strongly recommend visiting as well). You can stay here and visit Tayutic Mountain Reserve during the day for a price point that comes in at about a quarter what you'd spend to stay at the most well-known birding lodge in the area. The included breakfast was very good.

Everything was perfect. The place, the people, the food, the location, the animals. Best sleep we had with my partner in Costa Rica. Such a great experience ! We spent a night on these hills in a very cosy lovely chalet. Steven brought us through the night on a bumpy adventorous natural street up to the lodge. View and landscape are amaizing. Mia and Ranzel are lovely and very helpful patrons. We had a flat tire; their staff fixed it within minutes! Delicious breakfast with view, all done with care and love. Thank you so much!

We stayed this hidden gem of a hotel for one night on our way to a white-water rafting trip. The hotel is formed of a compound with each of the rooms facing inward into a beautiful garden area. The hotel sits close to the town’s bustling main square which has plenty of shops and restaurants, but inside it has a very tranquil and secluded feel to it so we were absolutely delighted when we stepped in from the street. A huge breakfast was provided in the kitchen area in the morning, including pancakes, eggs and fruit as well as gallo pinto. There was secure parking within the compound, which was reassuring but also meant that luggage could be kept in the car while still being easily accessible. We would highly recommend this place if you are passing through Turrialba.

Stunning location with unbelievable view, very tranquil and peaceful, very friendly owners, great breakfast! Need at least an SUV to get to it as around 3km up an unmade rocky road, but well worth the slow drive, as the views are amazing! Quite good wifi as well! Would happily stay there again!
