Very close to Lillehaden ( not sure of spelling) train station if arriving from Aalborg direction. This is the final stop before Hirtshals. There is an announcement on the train just before the stop and you must then press the STOP button on the door so that the driver knows to stop at this small station. Excellent large hotel with big comfortable rooms. Very clean. Bar and restaurant facilities. Exceptional staff. Panoramic restaurant. Easy 20 minute walk to Hirtshals centre. I got the train back. Hourly. 24kr. Again you must press the stop button when there is an announcement after leaving Hirtshals. Walking distance to Smyril Line ferry to Faroe Islands and Iceland. About 25 minutes. Hotel reception extremely helpful and will order a taxi if required.

It was absolutely perfect, Anne did a phenomenal job with the renovation and decor. Really modern, cosy, clean and everything you need. 5 minutes drive to the ferry so no stress in the morning, breakfast was already in the fridge so no hustle. Can't wait to see what you're doing with the rest of the place. We will definitely come back!

Warm & accommodating hosts in very pleasant surroundings, location is perfect & in one of the few safe places to be for the independent female solo traveller whom just happens to be more vulnerable than ever these days. I loved the atmosphere of the place, the accommodation itself, the welcoming hosts, but above all - breakfast consisting of different fish, sprouts, all very delicious. Peace and quiet surrounding the house was exactly what we needed. The place is really close to the harbor so it is very convenient if you travel to Norway. Highly recommended :)
