We’ve visited Banyoles many times but never stayed. La Carpa apartments were lovely and you can be self sufficient as apartment we stayed in had a kitchen but there are also 2 restaurants below the apartments and many more around the town.

Such a lovely location with stunning views over the countryside. Quiet and peaceful but 8 minute drive to restaurants and the lake at Banyoles. Excellent hosts with great communication. Too cold to use the pool but I’m sure in summer it would have been fabulous. Great kitchen with cooking facilities we needed to eat in one night. Plenty of space to enjoy staying here longer if you want to. Shower was spacious and clean, bathroom had everything we needed, but we were told in advance to ensure we brought our own shampoos and shower gels etc. plenty of parking, and good to be able to unload and load our bags at level to avoid stairs.

Perfect house with everything you need and even more. Clean, comfortable, a lot of bed linen ,towels and great board games. The owner is very nice and thoughtful. She also runs a cafe in the center, highly recommended.

The location was perfect for all aspects of our trip. Close to the lake, cafes, restaurants and shops (supermarket / butchers / bakery / chemist / hardware store) whilst being in a quiet street. The host met us and facilitated a smooth arrival. The premises were clean, spacious, well maintained and tidy with good facilities and a nice simple decor. Free WiFi, a clean kitchen and and en-suite for every room with good powerful showers. This place is perfect for cyclists as it has loads of space for bikes, as well as good washing facilities. The location is perfect for a range of rides, particularly the Rocacorba climb or a lap of the lake. Free parking was nearby and ample.

We did not realize this was a ciclist friendly hotel, and we were really excited to get here and see that it was! All the basics were excellent - clean room with views of the forest, wifi, amenities, etc. We were blown away by the quality of the breakfast and 3 course dinner - just what we needed after a long day of cycling. We also loved to see the room by the pool with the beautiful floor to ceiling windows and bike gear, snacks, cycling magazines, etc. It was a lovely place to spend a rainy afternoon. Finally it was great to see the binders full of local cycling and hiking routes, as well as places to sightsee. Overall, an absolutely wonderful stay!

Everything in Owls' Corner was amazing. Incredible ambiance, rustic and modern. Wonderful hosts, very warm and helpful, discreet... Very comfy and clean incl. everyday cleaning and tidying the place. Fireplace inside. Jacuzzi outside, wood heated, bath under starlit skies among olives and cork oaks - awesome and memorable experience. Oh, and there's a cool swimming pool in the grove. Great location if you want visit Girona region and Costa Brava. But place is so amazing that can stay there a whole day and just relaxxx.

    Great location, 2 min walk to the lake and 10 mins to centre of town. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfy beds and nice balcony. Quiet location. Nice pool which was a bonus and cafe/bar open 7am to 9pm which local people also seem to use but isn’t at all noisy. Good on and off street parking.

    Great location, lovely staff, nice bar, amazing breakfast - it was the first time I'd ever been to a hotel that supplied protein powder as part of the breakfast buffet! They also had secure, covered bike parking.
