Charming hotel with a unique environment and privacy. It’s located within a restored abbey from the XII century with only 30 rooms and a lot of privacy. Personnel is looking after you from minute 1 and are extremely polite. Finally, we have been doing wine tasting around the world for years and this has been the best experience by far. We will be back!!

A small boutique hotel in the middle of the wine area close to at least 11 bodegas/chateau in the neighbourhood. Beautiful location along the Douro river with excellent parking facilities. This is a super lovely hotel overlooking the river. I slept so well at night, hearing the river out the windows. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was large, clean, and well-laid out. They also had a great place for me to store my bike in the garage, which was super helpful.

The welcome we received from the host was exceptional, she had left us a lovely cake and milk to make a drink. She visited personally to show us round and check that we had everything we needed. The view of the castle was stunning, especially floodlit. Our stay was 1 night and we very much enjoyed it.
