Had the loft apartment. Chose this place over others mainly because I wanted a quiet location and La Petarie turned out to be perfect in that respect. Had no problem finding street parking and the owner met me promptly to check me in. Although Jean-Luc didn’t speak English (and I don’t speak French), he used a translation app which worked fine - he gave me some great recommendations for Champagne tastings and was kind enough to phone them to organise reservations. The apartment was absolutely spotless and everything appeared in new condition. I loved the decor and quirkiness, and it was very well equipped for self catering. Very reasonably priced bottles of Champagne in the fridge. Steps up to the loft bedroom might not suit some, but no issue to me although headroom in the loft area is limited. For those that didn’t figure it out there is a switch above the bed that closes the blackout blind on the loft window. The apartment was very quiet and easy walking distance to the Avenue de Champagne. Breakfast the next morning was excellent - I would loved to have taken it in the garden which looked beautiful, but it was a bit chilly so breakfast was inside. Overall a very high standard and great attention to detail - would go back without hesitation. Loved it.

We liked everything, it feels like home, beautiful old house from 1780, very nice hosts, spotlessly clean, right in the middle of town but very quiet. Excellent breakfast. I cannot think what could be done better, it’s perfect.

    Our host Jean-Luc greeted us nicely and was super helpful and thorough in his introduction. He does not speak much English but is was no problem at all as he used google translate on his phone is very good way. There is free parking in the street outside the building and if there is not room a large free parking lot is nearby. Also, the room had everything we needed and was perfectly clean and with a nice interior. We hope he has room for us next time we visit Épernay.

    The location is in a quiet residential area of Epernay, not a lot to see there, but the view from the windows is nice. The studio is clean and comfortable, with a little kitchenette and a wonderful large bathroom. It has a free parking lot just outside. we collected the keys since the reception was closed but the process was easy and without problems. Excellent value for money and nice breakfast too with a lot of option and friendly staff

    Everything - the hosts are lovely and friendly people - they want to ensure you have the best time and have lots of recommendations, beautiful hotel, they have restored/decorated it well, very comfortable bed, great shower, huge opulent room with a pool table, great traditional French restaurant nearby, free parking nearby. You have to stay here!

    Good location for walking access to town. Breakfast very good for price. Room for the price provided all the basics and was clean. Staff friendly and helpful.Free parking in a semi secure parking area right outside the hotel. Travelled as a couple with our young granddaughter. A good stopover on our journey home.
