The best place I stayed in Scotland. Historic countryside house near the Cairngorns with charm and personality and a beautiful garden. Incredible story of the family who owned the place, in particular Lady MacRoberts and her connection to the RAF, which guests can see and feel in the main house. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the Conservatorium (I didn't try the Library dinner, but I guess it is a remarkable experience). Lovely bar, very professional and friendly staff.

Brilliant wee cottage/bothy in the hamlet of Finzean. Cosy, and a home from home with a lovely welcome pack including biscuits and wine. Close to the farm shop for some nice goodies or a coffee. Angus was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful

    Everything was great. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Claudia was very kind and she left in the house some snacks for us. Parking is possible on the street in front of the house. Dog friendly acommodation.

    Everything under one roof. Rooms, bar and restaurant. Private car park also. Really nice wee place, great for one night. Good atmosphere. Food was good, however potentially a bit pricey considering it’s a bar/restaurant.

    We loved the attention to detail. Claudia ensured we had everything we needed, including fresh milk, soft drinks and snacks, shower gel and also some helpful maps and leaflets for the Deeside area. The communication was great, with straightforward instructions on how to access the property. There is plenty of free parking nearby, and you are only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Aboyne.
