It was lovely when we got there but got even better. I was sick on arrival and we ended up staying longer than planned. Sharon was fantastic, really taking care of us both. And the room has the best bed I think I have ever slept in... And since I was in it a lot, it was even more appreciated.

Due to the storm this weekend and the river over flowing there were a few road closures around the area. Staff came out and helped us find our way as our maps weren't updating. They couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated it! The rooms were big, modern and spacious. Breakfast was continental and then a choice of cooked options to follow. Pancakes were freshly made and delicious!

Location was perfect with plenty of free parking. The rooms are beautifully decoratored, clean, comfy beds, and comes with lots of lovely little touches that really make you feel welcome such as bottles of water, amazing biscuits and even a personalised notebook. Other family members were staying up the road and were gutted when I showed them pictures because they wished they had booked in here instead. Thank you for a great stay will will be back

The location was brilliant for getting to numerous places easily. The shepherds hut was a really peaceful place to stay , nice and quiet, Which is what I was wanting most of all. I would definitely stay there again.

    Beautiful building with large rooms with high ceilings & impressive giant sash windows. It’s in a great location, free car parking, in a private & secure location, only a short walk to town with its many shops/cafes/pubs/restaurants . The accommodation was very well equipped, having everything that we could possibly need to make our stay as comfortable as possible & a fabulous home from home.

    The apartment was beautifully furnished, had absolutely everything you needed. Exceptionally clean. Location was perfect with free parking, an added bonus. Susan welcomed us on arrival and was lovely and friendly providing lots of information for bars, restaurants and local walks. Extra touches was a bottle of wine, milk, orange juice water in addition to teas coffees and biscuits, we go away a lot and this generosity is amazing. Highly recommend this accommodation

    Free parking facilities, very easy pleasant check in. The receptionist was very accommodating and even suggested as our room was available we check in earlier than given time. Nothing was too much trouble.

    Sunday Lunch in the bar and cooked breakfast (additional charge) were both very good. Limited free parking on site (hotel is in the centre of town). Bedrooms and public spaces were clean, spacious and generally attractive, though our bedroom was quite bland with no pictures/features or soft furnishings etc. Nice hot shower with good water pressure
