Owners Jim and Ele are incredible hosts. We felt like we were staying with family (the good kind!). To sum up the hospitality I'll just say that when I had to step away from breakfast for a few minutes Ele put my full breakfast into the oven to keep it warm for me. If we were back in the area we would absolutely return.

Andrew met us on arrival and showed us around quickly before leaving the place to us. Him and Iona have been easily contactable and super lovely. The place was clean, cosy and had lots of extra goodies on arrival for us. The views were amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate coming back!

It is truly a hidden gem. The estate is located conveniently near important historical places, beautiful hiking spots and in short distance to Lochgipelhead, so restaurants, shops and pubs are just a few minutes away. The house is quiet and very comfortable. It has all facilities and features needed for comfortable and relaxed holidays. The owners thought about their guests every need. I will highly recommend this place to anyone.

The location was wonderful, with incredible historic sites in walking distance of the cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented and lovely and clean. It was spacious and very comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit in the area.

The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.
