This place is a gem. A peaceful relaxing getaway. The cottage was so comfortable & clean. There was everything you needed in the kitchen and lovely nooks to read. The view looking over the pond was beautiful and the gardens were gorgeous. Most people we met staying there are repeat customers and I can understand why. The Village & surrounding area is beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were so helpful, welcoming and friendly, we were treated like kings during our stay. The food was very nice with a broad comforting menu and the rooms had a really lovely airy feel to them. And even though the weather outside was so grim and cold, we were toasty inside our cabin. A great night's sleep in a beautiful place.

It was lovely and cosy and the view/location was wonderful lots of walks in the area. Also the brownies and jam left for us on arrival was a lovely touch. The enclosed area for the dogs was perfect too so we could sit and relax without worry of them getting out or up to mischief. It was also very quite in the evenings and night time making it very easy to relax and get away from life for a weekend.

It was so unique! Thoughtfully designed with lots of details that really made it special. Setting was fantastic, view of the lake and lambs in the field nearby. Fantastically equipped with basic supplies e.g. tea, coffee etc plus welcome gift of brownies! Shower and toilet block was very clean and again well stocked with toiletries - little extras that made a big difference.
