We came across The Morecambe Hotel by chance. And it is wonderful. At first glance, it is a simple building, but inside it is so cozy, harmonious and beautiful - both the restaurant and the rooms. This place definitely had an incredibly talented Designer who felt colors and textures at the highest level. Textiles, wood, furniture, expensive high-quality plumbing... Perfect, harmonious, everything in moderation. Selected paintings and ornaments. You won't feel this in words until you try it yourself. Very clean all, restaurant and room. Comfortable beds with high-quality natural textiles, a calm, quiet street, I finally really got a good night's sleep. An open courtyard with access only from the restaurant with tables and a playground is just a luxury, and parents can relax and children have a place to have fun. The Chef. Really delicious dishes and very refined presentation. The breakfast, of course, simply won us over, it was a surprise for us. Breakfast is included in the room rate and each dish is prepared by the chef to the choice of each guest, this is in addition to the buffet style. And of course, this place is made by hardworking people - honestly, I have never met so much care, kindness, peace, openness and simple humanity as here. This place deserves to be marked with all the awards many, many more times. Prosperity to you all and your guests! Thank you all very much for made my break amazing and come back me to life! Thank you all in this charming hotel.

And if you ever felt like trading the sea breeze for mountain air, the Lake District is just a short drive away—close enough for spontaneous road trips, but far enough that you’d return to the stillness of Morecambe with a newfound appreciation for its quiet charm. A rare blend of coastal calm and countryside escape. The cottage has everything a self-catering traveller could wish for—thoughtfully equipped, effortlessly comfortable. With major shops just around the corner, daily life flows with ease, letting you slip into the rhythm of the town like you belong there. It’s the kind of place that lets you go beyond sightseeing—where, for a short while, you stop being a visitor and start being a local. And really, there’s no better way to understand a place than to live as one of its own. To top it all off, there’s your own private parking bay—no circling the block, no stress—and the WiFi is fast and reliable, for those moments when you need to reconnect with the outside world. The hosts were superb: warm, responsive, and genuinely kind. When I accidentally broke an ornamental bowl, they wouldn’t even hear of me paying for it—a small gesture that spoke volumes about their generosity of spirit.

Lovely, big and fresh, new- refurbished apartament with very comfortable beds in quiet area. Co-op nearby, coffee shop and bakery too. Kids had a lot of space and stairs to run around and they loved it. Warm and cosy. Host was amazingly helpful with my requests and very kind. Close to the sea.

The host was lovely and even though we arrived late due to there being an accident on the motorway, Marie waited for us to arrive. The house was lovely. Very spacious and had everything you could need while staying away from home. Warm, clean and very nicely decorated. Very close to the sea front / town. Co-op shop at the end of the road. It also has its own parking spot .. 4 adults for a long weekend, 2 bathrooms, both with toilets . 😃

The property was excellent — clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We especially appreciated the convenient parking, two bathrooms, and the peaceful, pleasant neighbourhood. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing a generous range of amenities including plenty of bottled water, a bottle of milk, tea bags, coffee, Starbucks coffee pods, and even cooking oil. There were also multiple options for shower gel and shampoo, which added a truly thoughtful and personal touch to our stay.

    We have stayed here before but it was even better this year. The room was really big and had its own little kitchen which was amazing. We were delighted to be able to get a vegan breakfast this time which was so nice. There is on street parking nearby that's free overnight and you can keep an eye on your vehicle easily. It was a really hot day so the fan in the room was much appreciated.

    Very convenient location right on the front. Pay & Display car parking opposite free street parking also available nearby. The room was a good size and comfortable and the ensuite was good too. There was plenty of tea and coffee for the morning. The restaurant was very good. We had a really nice evening meal and a good breakfast. Friendly staff and a good welcome.
