Thank you to Albert and Aileen for a wonderful stay at Grainbank Mews. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean, with a delicious breakfast prepared for us each morning. Great location, just outside Kirkwall and a couple minutes' drive to all the shops and restaurants. We were really curious about life on Orkney, and Albert was very kind and informative, even pointing us in the direction of the 'Orkney Dictionary' (which I bought!) This place is a treasure and we would love to stay again the next time we are in town.

Lovely place just up a short hill from downtown Kirkwall. Delicious breakfast and very friendly owners, fellow travelers. Recommend 100% !

Very clean and cosy chalet with a nice view on the lake. Good communication with the host (messages) but we didn't meet her.

This is a really lovely house, lots of space, spotlessly clean, every convenience and parking. Laura is extremely helpful and responds immediately to any query. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Absolutely everything. The hosts were amazing. The location was stunning and still convenient. Breakfast was superb and both Chris and Stephan were so welcoming, accommodating and friendly.

Location was great, even though there was no breakfast served, there was lots of information given about where to go in the town for breakfast and other meals. It was a cozy little room and perfect for a couple nights stay for a single person. I felt safe and slept well.
