I loved the location, it being surrounded by the lush green of Krinides, its privacy, and of course the hosts! Lovely, courteous people, with good humour. If you want to explore the upper side of the village, feel in your lungs the clean air of Krinides, see scenery, exercise, have privacy, then this it! This is your spot!

I booked Phillipeio because a friend of mine who lives in Krinides recommended highly staying there and I was not disappointed at all. Panagiotis and Marianna have been welcoming me very cordially and I felt very comfortable from the start even though it was my first time in Greece. They offered me not only historical knowledge about Krinides but also help at all times and I was also always welcomed to spend time with them. They are very special hosts and I am looking forward to seeing them the next time I’ll be here. The hotel and scenery are very beautiful. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, are very clean and the WiFi connection was very good. Overall I would rate my stay 10/10 and I would also HIGHLY recommend everyone staying at their place. They made my vacation even more special. You can see and feel that they are passionate hosts who care deeply about your well being. I want to thank them both because if it wasn’t for them my stay would not have been as great as it was. Please book with them if you want the authentic greek hospitality. I will ensure you, you won’t regret it.

Friendly staff, extra clean (kids made a mess with a chocolate the first night and everything was cleaned the next day), cozy swimming pool to relax, plenty of free public parking next to the building, kitchenette with all you need. We enjoyed our weekend stay very much.

The building was lovely and the location perfect as very near the magnificent aqueduct and old town. Very easy walk to the centre of town and to a swimming spot. The staff were friendly and informative. The room was very clean spacious and airy. The breakfast basket was superb. We also received a welcome gift of wine and a goodbye gift which was a lovely touch.

Beautiful accommodation! In an authentic style, everything is new, clean, but you are immersed in the 80s-90s. As if you are visiting your grandparents. Everything is done with high quality! There is air conditioning, a washing machine, all the amenities for living! And the view from the terrace is breathtaking! Very friendly and polite host! Helped with any questions! The apartment was in a fantastic location, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit. It was clean with comfortable bed and linen. A/C a treat when returning home from our daily adventures. Cold complimentary bottles of water stocked in fridge on our arrival along with a bottle of wine and small bottle of olive oil. Well equipped kitchen. Breath taking views from balcony each morning and night as we had our coffee.

    Very polite , friendly and helpful staff . The place is away from the crowds, have it is own garden and free parking. To get there you should tap on and follow the link sent by the guy from the hotel as the other one takes you in the nearby village but not the hotel.

    We only stayed for one night in order to see Philippi. If we had it to do over we would stay here longer and see more of the area. The breakfast was fantastic, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the view was spectacular. If you stay, make sure you ask the owner about the archaeological site and the area - he was a wealth of information for us. Parking for the car was convenient and easy, and it was a very quick, short drive down to the archaeological site and museum.

    This hotel is a hidden gem. Beautiful facilities overlooking the valley with free parking. Great breakfast. But the owner made the stay, with a passion for the area and history. Willing to sit down and give helpful tips planning your day and even places to go that you won't find in guidebooks.
