Located up in the hills meant a short respite from the heat at sea level. The owners are lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. Had a couple of jungle trecking tours to see the waterfalls and local wildlife both of which were arranged for us at short notice and could not have been better. The guide was great (thanks Sas).

-very friendly owners, I felt very welcome -the bathroom is huge and clean with really hot water and good water pressure -the room was big and spotless, there is plenty of space for luggage/ hiking gear -the breakfast was simple but delicious -there is only one power outlet in the room but they provided a connector strip so I was able to charge multiple devices

The host & his wife were really wonderful people, who helped accommodate us with our every need. We needed a driver, and they fixed it for us as well as a guide to visit the waterfalls. Since there isn’t a lot to eat or shop in the neighbourhood (except one little shop for drinks and snacks) the host cooked a wonderful meal for us as well as breakfast. The bungalow has the best view on rice and tobacco fields and the sunsets here, with the mount Rinjani in the back are truly mesmerizing.

Mr Joe is such a kind and honest man, and gave us an authentic experience of the Bayan area. Best host ever and a lovely family! Beautiful views of the valley from the bungalows and you can go swimming in the river just a short walk down the hills and rice paddies that Joe showed the way for us. 100% recommend staying here to everyone, and recommend going on a day tour with a local driver through Joe to see the strong cultural and heritage places of Bayan and the waterfalls. Mr Joe is very caring about his community and we learnt so much about Bayan. We booked an extra night because it was too nice to leave!

A wonderful accommodation right next to the national park. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything you need. They also organize many different tours, which makes it very convenient. The apartments are new, so there aren’t many reviews yet, but everything was spotless, and you can tell they really put their heart into making guests feel comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend it.
