Good location, nice personnel. We reached out to the reception desk after having discovered that our room was crawling with cockroaches and we were immediately offered another room where we saw no more cockroaches.

Amazing reef accessible from the wharf and beach, lovely golden beach, great variety of equipment available, snorkelling, kayaks, life jackets, sun loungers on beach and by the pool. Towels provided on each bed. Great variety of meals available at the restaurant and very tasty. Amazing wildlife at the resort, black monkeys, Bali starling, rusa deer on the beach, macaques, butterflies and more! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We actually liked every thing. If you like nature, relaxing, peace and quiet this place is for you. The snorkelling was fantastic, an amazing variety of coral soft and hard from the wharf, clear water, saw snowflake eel, moray eel, lobster, titan fish, cuttlefish, an astounding array of different reef fish, juvenile and grown the amount of different species in such a small area was great. Easy snorkelling, and at times nearly no current. You can go off the wharf into a group of very friendly batfish.

The staff was very nice. The hotel provides ijen group tour with perfect service for a good price. So you dont need to worry where to book the tour. Just book the stay at this homestay. The train station and the ferry port is a 3 minutes walk.The tour was exceptional!

It’s a great stay there and it felt like home when we stayed there. The Ibu and the grandma that handle that place were so lovely and friendly like I visited my grandma and my auntie after a long time. Ibu Marhamah was so good in cooking. She will cook for you if you ask.

Very close to the ferry and just 4 min from the train station 🚉 Ac and clean room. Basic but all you need in my opinion :) the owner was super friendly and helpful and always had a smile on her face, loved our 2 nights here!

There were no staff at check-in, but instead I pressed a buzzer and a lovely caretaker lady came to take me to my room. The room was very simple but the TV and A/C worked well. There was no hot water, but the area was so hot, that it wasn't needed. I don't really understand the significance of "Syariah", but the hotel seemed the same as any other. Tea and coffee making facilities were outside the room in a little communal area. The ferry crossing is walking distance.
