I most liked the quiet and serene natural environment and the open-air bathroom. Showering and bathing in the latter was lovely as the bathroom has plants and the forest trees nearby are tall and overlook the bathroom. There was a lovely balcony with a daybed that was great for relaxation surrounded by the sound of cicadas and birds. Walking around the rice fields and along jungle paths to the room was great fun. There is a good restaurant with a nice pool, and the breakfast provided by Sacred Beji was well worth it. Finally, a very reasonable price for the quality of service and accommodation!

This place was so beautiful. Secluded from other guests. So relaxing. The staff welcomed us with some history of the location. They brought our breakfast to the room each day. The private pool was warm and gorgeous. We had a floating breakfast the last day. The robes were comfy. They arranged a scooter for us. They were always available by phone or whatsapp and quick to respond. We left our charger in the room at check out and they promptly called us to let us know.

The location is idyllic. Nestled in the jungle, winding paths lead you to your room. The no walls room, means nothing interrupts the enjoyment of the fantastic view. This is the ultimate place to experience the jungle and immerse oneself into nature. The stunning river canyon, holy spring and lush gardens, lovely balcony overlooking the river valley were a nature lover’s dream. Birdlife was fantastic too. Staff was kindest and very attentive. Beautiful touches in the rooms with a super comfy bed. Great food too, especially the breakfast was outstanding. Loved the swings in the restaurant. Thanks for a perfect stay.

I was needing a quiet, peaceful place to stay and relax for a night and this place was amazing, The staff was friendly and helpful, the views were spectacular, the pool was refreshing and it was perfect. I love the location which provides views of the surrounding rice fields as well as a secluded jungle view. I also like the area of Payangan, because it is less crowded and congested with traffic than other parts of Bali. Also the WiFi was fast and reliable. It really was a lovely getaway. My only regret is not booking longer, but I certainly plan on returning to Karang Dukuh Villa in the future. What a lovely surprise!
