We really like the location, the view from cottage. You can directly see rice fields and you can also go down there. The breakfast was amazing, you can choose from a lot of options (omelet, smoothie bowl, ...) The young staff is so kind, helpful and very caring. In the cottage with panoramatic view, you can see Rinjani and rice fields, also you have open roof bathroom, which is so nice. The garden is full of flowers.

this was truly the best thing we could have done when we came to lombok. we feel we have become part of this beautiful family - Zarkasi's children and wider family are so wonderful and Zarkasi himself is a fantastic host. We were taken to see how they weave sarongs and to the local village market which were both fantastic experiences. The food here is also delicious and there is a never-ending offer of tea or coffee! if you are looking to immerse yourself in indonesian culture and to spend time with a lovely lovely family, please consider staying here. Tetebatu is the kind of place where you get a real taste of real people in a beautiful community that does not have a lot, but is wealthy in family, community, hard work, determination, kindness and hospitality. Our hosts went beyond to support our stay and help us navigate the place, the activities and made things so much easier. The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.

Simple comfortable rooms in a remote community on the scenic southern slopes of Mt Rinjani. Host was so welcoming and friendly. Delicious breakfast and outstanding coffee served on a roof terrace above the rooms. Spectacular panoramic view from the terrace of the local landscape, including Mt Rinjani, if the clouds part. Walkable to the nearby Monkey Forest - which was fun. Options to tour the surrounding rice terraces/waterfalls were available but we had to move on. Absolutely recommend a stay here.

Great accommodation in the middle of rice fields in the beautiful Village tetebatu. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. But the best part are the people there. Andy and the rest of the staff are very nice people who help you with everything you could need.
