room was very large & comfortable with wifi etc very nice bathroom , breakfast was excellent & all the staff were very nice & friendly our room did'nt face the sea but many rooms had a sea view over ballycotton lighthouse & bay ! highly recommend we will stay again next year ! & would advise you to book a table for dinner we arrived on a tuesday in may & had trouble getting a table as we hadn't booked it was very crowded !

Absolutely loved the view and the whole vibe, such a tranquil comfy place, very clever use of space. The drive up to the loft is beautiful, your Border Collie is super cute, kept us on our toes driving up 😂😂 it has everything needed in the loft, perfect for a break and get away to a quiet space. Absolutely will be seeing us again. The night sky, just everything is wonderful

A fabulous property in every way. The view was just iconic and stunning, we never tired of it. The property itself was very clean, homely, cosy and the ambience was delightful. An outstanding cottage which we did not want to leave. We brought our little dog with us and he loved it too and he was in his element at the beach just a short walk away. We would highly recommend Periwinkle Cottage and a very big thank you to Peter (the owner) for his lovely welcome and advice. Thanks and appreciation too, to Tracey, who keeps the cottage pristine and spick and span. A very special and unique experience which we were very lucky and appreciative to achieve.

The layout of the property was lovely with each room with a new and clean en-suite. The property has embraced its style and it is tastefully decorated with lovely fresh bed linen and towels. Really the best hotelroom I have ever spend the night 😊 I was on holiday in Cobh and spend 4 nights in Commodore Hotel. I had the most breathtaking view, and on 3rd floor there was a terrasse with a view of both the church and the harbour. My room was on the 3rd floor with a view over the J F Kennedy Park and the sea. The hotel is very quiet both from the other in the hotel and from the road and park in front of the hotel. The food is really tastefull and the imployees (from the servants in the restaurant, the roommaids and the persons at the check-in were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is places in lovely surrundings, close to restaurants, pubs, museums and When ever I come to Cobh again there no place I would Esther spend the in, but Commodore Hotel.

    Incredibly friendly, great hosts. Excellent breakfast (filling and tasty). Great room, clean and cozy with good amenities and view. Parking space. Easy to find albeit being somewhat off the beaten track.

    Pat was a great host.....very welcoming, always positive; we missed meeting Anna ! Breakfast was fabulous, lot of space for parking, small pantry outside room was a great facility; so peaceful and beautiful and yet could reach other places to sightsee in 20--40 mins.... highly recommended
