I loved this place. It is a true oasis. It is very clean, the onsens are fabulous, the common areas are comfortable and fantastic to hang out, it is convenjently licated and less than 30min by bus away from all major sites. I would definitely stay there again

Service was great, staff was very friendly and spoke sufficient english. There are free yukata's which you can use to walk around in the hotel. We had a private onsen in our room but we also tried the public one. The private onsen is a bit small but fine for 1 person, the public onsen was quite spacious and you could go inside or outside which had a great view of the stars in the sky at night. Dinner and breakfast was included and offered sufficient choices in buffet style. Location was near a bus stop and was easy to find. Nearby there is a hiking trail and some local restaurants for food. Also you could walk to the cable car which bring you to the volcano Owakudani.

    There’s a big free parking space for lake visitors and there was one of the main bus stops to/from Hakone Yumoto you can easily go around both by car or public transportation. The famous Hakone shrine is only 10min walk away which was perfect for a morning walk. The capsule room had AC and high ceiling it didn’t feel like you’re stuck in a tiny space(the bed itself was way bigger than usual capsule rooms!). Free coffee/tea available 24h and the lounge was cozy

    We arrived at the hotel (Annex) after sunset and was happy that the reception staff helped us with the check-in even though it was passed his working hours. Happy to be able to use the onsen within the hotel (Annex). The room (Japanese Modern Room) was large enough for our family of 4 adults. We only stayed one night and checked out early the next morning. There were only a few parking lots at the Annex and we were glad that there was a vacant lot on our arrival.

    Overall it was wonderful. Location, staff, facilities and rooms were awesome! Valet parking, had help with bringing luggage to room, unique drinks and custum sizing of yukatas and sandals. Great hospitality and all staff were very friendly. Onsens were very nice bonus.

    Outdoor bath was amazing. It was a very rainy and slightly cold day/night which was perfect. The room was huge and really comfortable and lovely. Enjoyed buffet breakfast and was great to have free parking as we rented a car (highly recommend doing this instead of taking public transport).
