It’s a cosy cottage. Feels like home. Excellent for family holiday. All of us love the cottage. Surrounded by Apple trees and Sakura trees. How nice to be woken up by cuckoo birds in the morning. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Aomori again. Mr Aki was very helpful with our trip planning too.

We thought we only rented only a room but it was the whole 1F of a lovely house in east-western style. A big kitchen, several rooms, a wonderful bath and separate toilet and a garden seat we could call “our own”. The people caring for us were absolutely friendly and attentive to everything we could need or want. We loved the peacefulness of the house and prolonged our stay. I absolutely recommend the place.

new designed guesthouse in hirosaki. we had 2 private rooms with tatami floor (actually its a thin rice paper door that seperate the rooms and can be opened to 1 big room). everything is brand new. the room is big enough and has very convenient matresses on the floor. they also suplly towels. the comunal showers are right in front of the room, so its very convenient. the rooms are on the second floor, above the coffee/bar on the 1sr floor. you go by stairs to the second floor and take off your shoes. the are also dormitory beds on that floor. the city itself was very welcoming and nice. we had a very good experince and definitly come back again.

The breakfast buffet was fabulous, the best breakfast we had on our 2 week trip and we couldn't believe that it was free. It was superior to a hotel that we stayed at afterwards, where we had to pay for the breakfast. There was also a store clerk, Wataru, who worked on the 2nd floor of Appliese and he went out of his way to help me find a kimono for my grand-daughter. That was service above and beyond the call of duty! I will never forget his kindness!

Well appointed, spacious and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood near to the station. Everything you need is available to prepare your own meals, or do laundry or take a nice long bath. Parking is also easy as there is a spot attached to the apartment. The landlord was very responsive and helpful when we had any questions I’d have not hesitation staying there again.
