The place is very clean and it provides hot water and heater in different room. Boss and staff are so helpful and friendly.Since it was Christmas eve the night I stayed, boss offered us drinks and cake and so much laughter it was such a memorable experience! We had a wonderful, timeless experience with this lovely family. The father and his daughters are adorable and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. A truly unique experience during our trip that I highly recommend.

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse has a nostalgic flare, lots of wood, great atmosphere. We had ordered a veggie dinner and breakfast, and all was home made and good. We arrived after dark and after hours of rain on our motorbikes, and the hosts let us dry our gear in the main room which is much appreciated. // Our host also told us about the mountain road ahead which is forbidden for motorcycles. We were gutted but very happy he told us so we could plan our next day accordingly. // I would certainly stay again!

Super Nice Local Breakfast! The BBQ dinner is awesome and the staffs are very helpful. Overall environment is good. The only thing was no onsen due to damage of pipe but hotel allow us to use the private onsen at no cost. Very nice experience and highly recommended.

Perfect location to explore the Suganuma, Aikonura and Gokayama. The bus from Johanna station stops 20 meter from the house, same stop to go to the villages, so you dont need a car to visit this place. Very beautifully renovated house with old elements and modern comfort. Super friendly owner. Nice tofushop, Japanese bakery and small supermarket closeby. Also very Nice to scroll around the house. Been 4 times to Japan and would absolutely recommend to stay here!
