It is a very beautiful place to stay - Breakfast & coffee was amazing and included. Specially the staff were very friendly and did a great service. Special thanks to Tina & Elio for their hospitality! Don't miss out on the signature drinks they offer, my favourite is the coconut infused Negroni. I would definitely come back.

I stayed in four hotels in Weligama over two weeks, and without a doubt, Mzion Hotel Weligama was the best. It's a well-equipped, medium-range hotel offering all essential facilities. The small pool is nice, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and the bathrooms are impressively modern and large—comparable to those in five-star hotels. The rooftop is a highlight, offering breathtaking sea and city views. A best place to have a beer. A truly remarkable short stay!

What an amazing hidden gem and perfect place to spend our honeymoon. We had the most wonderful 5 nights at Villa Alba. Our room was stunning and had the most beautiful views. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our whole stay - they really couldn’t do enough for us and were always so happy and polite. The menu and food at the hotel was outstanding and always so beautifully presented. We particularly loved the pool area, comfortable sun loungers and views over the beautiful gardens and rice fields. The hotel very kindly organised a safari for us at Udawalawe National Park - this is a must when staying in Sri Lanka. A day we will remember forever. Location is peaceful and only 10 minutes from the beach. Very easy to get to by tuk tuk which the hotel very kindly organised for us during our stay. We really can’t fault anything about this hotel. We really hope to return in the future will be recommending it to all of our friends. If you are considering booking Villa Alba please don’t think twice, you won’t regret it! Thank you to all of the staff at Villa Alba for your amazing hospitality and for making our first trip to Sri Lanka and honeymoon so memorable.

I loved my time here. I couldn't fault anything about it! Breakfast was slightly different every day and always traditionally Sri Lankan! The food was absolutely delicious and filling! The location was beautiful, really in the thick of the jungle but still so close to the centre of Ahangama. It's a good idea to get the contact of a tuktuk driver that knows where it is when you find one though! It was so peaceful aside from the occasional peacock and monkey noise! The highlight was the kindness and the hospitality of the hosts. Champika is so passionate about showing and talking to people about the cinnamon and wildlife and him and his family even let me use their own shower when I had a late checkout and gave me dinner in their home. The whole family were absolutely delightful and I would highly recommend anyone to stay there!

There was nothing to dislike about this amazing hotel. Rooms were massive & clean. Lovely balcony. Pool was great with jacuzzi. Lots of seating areas. Mr & Mrs Diaz were fabulous hosts also all their staff were great. Breakfast was huge and well done, always with a lovely sweet treat at the end. Just across the road to the beach. We will definitely be back.
