We had such a wonderful stay here. The staff are so lovely and helpful will everything you could need. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, good aircon and spacious size. The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was delicious and very well priced. The owner will organise anything you want to do - we did a safari which was amazing and well organised, picked up and dropped back off at the hotel and all tickets etc was sorted for us. The hotel organised amazing tours of Mihintale and the ancient temples with tuk tuk guide named Jaya - make sure to request Jaya as your tour guide! He was very kind and knowledgeable and we had the best time with him touring the beautiful temples.

The family was superb, their accomodation was so nice, quiet, clean, and in the evening you can have a local diner. Loved it. Lakmali was great everything is possible to arrange. I will certainly come back!

Very good and easy going vibe. The garden is just beautiful and peaceful. Nice sitting area outside. Could rent a bike there for a very fair price. It is basic, but has literally everything you need (lockers in the rooms for everybody, hangers in the bathroom, waterboiler for tea, adapters, sri lanka guide books)...

Comfortable bed, a big TV with cable but limited channels (you can request a channel if you want), powerful AC, balcony, and a decent sized washroom. WiFi is fast & reliable for browsing & chats/calls. The property is located in an alley (wide enough for cars & tuktuks), about 600 meters from New Town Bus Station. The lovely hosts live downstairs and there’s a separate entry to the rooms on the first floor. It’s a modern & super comfortable space managed by a well-mannered & cultured family. They really go the distance when it comes to helping you, there is a genuine concern regarding your comfort & sincere effort is put into addressing your needs. I mean it was my best experience in Sri Lanka in 30 days and I stayed in over a dozen highly rated hotels & home-stays. I strongly recommend staying here. Seriously, don’t look any further when in Anuradhapura.

Golden Ray Villa is the perfect place to stay. Sanjeewa is the nicest person we have met in Sri Lanka, his food it's the most delicious we had, and each and every breakfast is diffetent and prepared with love. His attention to detail is amazing. The room was beautiful, super clean, and the beds are very confortable. The AC is very helpfull as it gets very hot in Anuradhapura in the hotter months. Inside there is this little garden, were you can relax, and a parking place inside (for us was very good since we had our own tuk tuk).

It's a special establishment. In my opinion, it represents true luxury: a few perfectly equipped and enormous rooms, and truly personalized service from the entire team. In short, a place worth visiting and enjoying.

Really clean and quiet hotel on the edge of the town. They have free bikes which was great to cycle to the local restaurants and the ancient city. There is also free laundry, though I didn't make use of it in the end but good to know for fellow backpackers. Bed was comfortable, AC worked really well, hot shower. My room was spotless. The staff are excellent and extremely kind. I had an unpleasant encounter during my time in Anuradhapura and Lakshan was very kind. The owner Sagara also reached out to me which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend staying here, I felt safe there as a solo female traveller.

Very friendly hosts, wonderful tips for exploring the city. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. They have fruits from their own garden, including Mangos - so yummy. Location can be reached easily with a TukTuk.
