The villa is in a quiet area. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool and enjoyed the different games available like the billiard table. Aloka made sure we had great meals and showed us a river with small waterfalls in the area where the kids could take a swim which was great.

Wow! What incredible service at Tree of Life. I was blown away by how dedicated and kind the staff were. We could communicate through WhatsApp before we arrived and they solved any problems we had. We had a sick child for this part of our stay and I was so relieved to be here as I felt we were so well looked after. Also loved the whole site, swimming at night with bats above and the luxurious outside shower.

I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

A wonderful place to stay. Calm and serene. Was lots better than the photo’s make it look. Loved waking up in the jungle with the full height glass windows. Really nice pool. The staff were super helpful and attentive and gave us lots of tips including visiting a local turtle sanctuary. Highly recommended.
