It's a beautiful place, the host is really lovely and caring. They even arrange pick up if needed. We got a welcome drink, drinking water was provided, and the host gave us many recommendations for where to get food and what to do in the area.

Very nice and relaxed place managed by equally nice and warm people. The manager of Thambu Illam, Mathu ensured that all our requirements met precisely and Sudha ensured that our stay at the property was comfortable. Both gentlemen said call their personal phone numbers anytime if we need any assistance. The team was very friendly with our children and the kids did not want to leave.

I loved it here! Really nice place, nice and clean rooms. Tony, the owner, really does anything to make people feel like they're at home. If you're in Jaffna this is the place to stay, near the center but in a quiet road, many restaurants and cafes nearby. I highly recommend this place!!!

Absolutely lovely stay at Munril Guest! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. The villa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and green setting just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the city center, a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. The facilities are excellent, but what really stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They even offered free rides to local sights, which was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

This is an exceptional place where you can truly escape the hustle and bustle of every day life, where you are lulled to sleep at night the sound of waves. The eco-conscious huts are exceptionally well made and comfortable. Staff are universally friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. Do not miss the cuttlefish curry which is to die for. Helpful property manager (Mathushan) who was always around and willing to assist. Fantastic Jaffna breakfast served when ordered the night before. Clean indoor swimming pool (though not very deep) to help relieve from the Jaffna sun. Great rooms and bathroom. Interesting local art/photos on the walls as well.
