I’ve stayed in many beautiful hotels in my life - I LOVE beautiful hotels and want to try the best hotels around the world as I’m a very frequent traveller. I can honestly say that this hotel is OUTSTANDING - the service is incredible!! I was upgraded and given a complimentary late check out! This is incredible and I’m so grateful!!! The room is ABSOLUTELY stunning - everything is SO COMFORTABLE! It’s perfect and waking up to the most beautiful ocean views is wonderful 🌺🌸🌼 I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Colombo! Don’t stay anywhere else!! The property is very new and well furnished. Fully kitted out kitchen and great outdoor space and a chilled indoor space too! It feels like you’re in a private villa! The shared female dorm is super clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are big and very very clean

We had the pleasure of staying at Taprobane House Hotel for 26 days, and it truly felt like a second home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel itself is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained — a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms are comfortable, the garden is lovely, and the atmosphere is calm and serene. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and we appreciated the genuine hospitality throughout our stay. Special thanks to Rashmi and the entire team for making our time in Sri Lanka so memorable. We left with full hearts and hope to return one day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil and authentic experience.

If I should come back to Colombo, I would stay here again in any case. The hotel shines with its cleanliness and is very professionally run. The room has everything and everything works perfectly. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel here. The closeness to the beach is brilliant. You can reach the ocean in just 2 minutes walking distance and have a beautiful beach for walking and swimming. On the other hand, you are not just in a touristic part of the city and have various local shopping facilities and restaurants right on your doorstep. The location is very quiet and the singing of the birds makes you feel like you're not in the big capital. The internet is very fast and working the whole time. The breakfast was very delicious.
