Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

It was a very clean and beautiful accommodation. The garden has a mango tree and we even saw some monkeys. A few steps away is a local vegetable and fruit market, we enjoyed. Breakfast and dinner was amazing! It was cooked by the hosts. They even helped us to buy something we lost on our journey and what is very hard to get in this area of Sri Lanka. Additionally we got great sight seeing insides. This guest house was.perfect for us.

The swimming pool was another highlight—crystal-clear, well-maintained, and not too deep, making it perfect for both beginners and those just looking to relax. We spent hours simply floating, soaking in the serene atmosphere, and enjoying the natural beauty surrounding us. Accommodation & Comfort Our room was spotless, with a perfectly functioning air conditioner that kept us cool in the tropical heat. The bathroom was pristine, with clean, well-maintained toilets and showers—a true testament to the attention to detail and high standards maintained by the team. It’s clear that the staff here take great pride in ensuring every corner of the property remains immaculate. An Unforgettable Breakfast Experience One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast included in our booking. Guests have the choice of a European or Sri Lankan breakfast, and as a German-Sri Lankan couple, we opted for the authentic Sri Lankan spread—a decision we’ll never regret!

You need to understand that this is quite specific place, but if you understand what you are booking, then this place is just great.

The view over the ricefields is amazing. The food is so fresh and good.srilanka Breakfast super she made all the food extra mild for me. The room are super clean bed nice and comfortable for me this is one of the very good accommodation. I ABSOLUT LIKE To Recomend this place

Unique small hotel with great view just right by the lake! Amazing view from the room, pool and restaurant. They serve great romantic dinner on the terrace in the garden in front of the lake. So friendly and welcomed stuff, you feel yourself in the hotel like in the family. Royal suite room was fantastic! Huge, legendary decorated, with his own history, with lots of facilities inside and outside, with private territory on the lake with small island view, your own jacuzzi in the garden with lake view, , behind the fence. Tasty food in the restaurant and great breakfast menu. We highly recommend it. You will be in privacy and peace on the nature with great facilities and level of service. Best choice for romantic travellings!

Tishan is a well-run, welcoming, family-run place, surrounded by rice paddies. The food, especially the curry, is outstanding. The family are helpful with arranging transport and at reasonable prices. The place is peaceful, the pool area pleasant, and at night the frog and insect chorus is delightful. Wonderful.

We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.
