Great location, 10 minute walk to Talalla Beach. we had delicious breakfast and dinner there every day and Staff were very kind and friendly Self serve laundry, kitchen and drinking Water on site were greatly appreciated.

I would like to note the friendliness of the staff and willingness to help. Breakfast is different every day, very tasty and beautiful, every day we were served fruit from their garden! They also have a restaurant, the food is fast, the portions are huge, there is a lot of seafood. With our own eyes near the hotel we saw monkeys, peacocks, lizards and it’s wonderful! In general, we were pleasantly surprised by the service, I highly recommend this hotel to families with children or quiet groups!

Beautiful near new property. Excellent value for money, comfortable, 2 minutes walk to the peaceful Talalla beach with its clear blue waters to swim in. We had dinner there both nights which were delicious. Our hosts were a friendly Sri Lankan family who treat their guests superbly. This place was one of the gems we stayed in on our trip around the island. We shall return.

This is a gem of a place! Situated right on the beautiful beach of Tallala. The roms are modern and fresh. Nice balcony with lovley wies of the beach an the beautiful garden. It is quiet and peacfull. The host are wery nice people that made us feel safe and welcome. We stayed for 14 days and had a wonderful time. Tallala is the perfect place of you like smaller more authentic destinations. There Are a few very nice restaurants. There also is a good bakery just across the road from the villa. We certanly recomend this place! Best regards from Norway

The place was good, there were fans, mosquito nets, bathroom with shower. You are able to cook, there is a gas stove, fridge available - with small but functional freezer. The hosts were absolutely amazing, they are an older couple. When we saw a scorpion, they took it away, which was incredible. They were very kind, bought us breakfast the first morning, coconut... They took us with tuktuk to the bus station. They have a cat that doesn't like being petted, but also a 2 year old dalmatian, very energetic and loving dog. Overall it was an incredible stay, I can only recommend.

Super comfortable, affordable and clean. The place is super calm and very close to Talalla beach (2min walking). This is one of the best places where we stayed in Sri Lanka. The hosts are so caring, kind and humble. They made dinner for us twice and it was super delicious. I would recommend this place for families, couples and solo travelers. You can have your privacy but at the same time you don’t feel alone.:-) The house has a spacious and beautiful garden/outdoor area, with space to park a car or tuktuk if you are driving one. We had such a great time with this sweet family! Thank you for having us.

We’ve loved our stay here. Mani is a wonderful host and we feel very much at home, she’s been so generous with her suggestions and catering to my dietary needs (vegetarian). The food is brilliant and wholesome. We’ve been able to relax and work from the porch and the living room, and take the short walk to Talalla beach for a perfect swim. This is a heritage property and it has been in the family for a long time, you get the feeling of living among local history - which I prefer more than a newly sprung up hotel. And you can spot plenty of colourful birds in the peaceful garden. Easy access to mini marts, fruit vendors, sunset viewpoints, and a short ride to the busier beaches of Dikwella and Hiriketiya.

    The host received us with coffee and biscuits. He was friendly, in a way that made me and my friend(both female) comfortable and at ease. It was one of the most clean rooms we've slept in during our trip to Sri Lanka- on a tight budget. It was right near the beach which is a gem still to be discovered. The breakfast was also nice, enough to fill us up. Overall a pretty good stay. Good parking for our tuktuk as well :)
