Our stay was amazing. Everything was up to standard. From the staff to the riad as a whole, which had been painstakingly designed. The rooms were beautiful, overlooking the courtyard. The riad also had a great location. The staff, Suad and Ibrahim, were very kind and helpful. Ibrahim greeted us at the parking lot and helped us with our luggage. My stay at the Iguana Azul was simply wonderful! If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. This small Riad is located almost at the top of hill, to get there you need to carry your luggage on multiple stairs but the staff is extremly helpful and manage this for you, the rooms are newly completed and in good state, the food served was nice and meets a hungry stomach needs, very friendly staff and looks like a riad that is growing in size.
