This apartment is in the brand new 20+ story block that is called The Shore, in the centre of Kota Kinabalu. It is pristine,the double bed is very comfortable and there is a small lounge area with table and chairs and a small settee, it also has a very large flat screen, it has a balcony that overlooks the sea and allows you to appreciate the amazing sunsets.. it has everything that you could need. The location is right in the middle of the bustling town and just a 5min walk to the night markets and the The Waterfront which has numerous restaurants and bars.

Clean beyond expectations, and amazingly helpful and communicative staff. Easy to find as long as you read the directions provided. Location is great, within walking distance to many mini markets, food stalls, and great restaurants. The owners and staff clearly put a lot of thought into this place. Beyond the basic amenities, they also provided a hairdryer with various attachments (including a diffuser!), and a scale to weight your luggage, which was very useful for us. Would definitely recommend A Residence to any friends and family planning to visit Kota Kinabalu.

    1. It’s a new hotel so it’s very clean. 2. The location is good, near Inanam town. 3. One does not need to worry about foods as there are many restaurants located near the hotel. 4. The parking space although is limited but very safe and free. 5. Wi-fi was good.
