We wanted somewhere that was away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, and that was on the way south. This place was perfect. Kingston is a sleepy little place, which was exactly what we were after. Unfortunately we arrived a bit late due to some trouble in Queenstown, so it was a relief to come here. The room was clean, and our late arrival was seemless.

Great location, right on the cycle trail and a short walk to the Athol shop. The apartment was cosy and had everything we needed for our family group. Friendly and informative host. We loved the tranquil setting and swimming at the nearby river.

    Nicely appointed kitchen, directly accessible parking for all the cooking gear, coolers, etc. Fireplace in the communcal kitchen area was roaring creating great atmosphere and chance to meet with guests and local tradesmen. Everyone well behaved!
