Pico is a beautiful island full of beautiful fresh nature and discovering the secrets of the fajas. The house is a two-story flooded fisherman's house above the ocean, a short distance from the coast, with an open window you feel like you are on a boat... everywhere there is a charming view of the water surface with the sunset. There is a possibility of swimming near the house. The rooms are clean and spacious, bright spacious and well-equipped kitchen, comfortable large beds and a modern bathroom with a good shower. There is good parking at the house. A car is a must, Mr. Marius helped us a lot with renting a car. We went all over the island and it is beautiful, mountain flowers and hydrangeas everywhere, excellent places for hiking and very tasty food in small restaurants, I highly recommend and at reasonable prices. The most expensive dishes are around 12-15.- euros, large plates of steaks or fresh seafood and fish. A surprise of local cheese and coffee was waiting for us at the house to welcome us. Very kind attention, thank you :-) I wish to come back again:-)

Everything was just perfect! Nice interior to feel cozy and comfortable even in November, we really appreciated the candles :) Kitchen has everything you need and the Beds are comfortable. The shower has a very nice water pressure and everything is very clean. The location is at a Fajã, and thus a little remote- you need a car to come there but you need a car on São Jorge nonetheless. The host gives you great tips on what to do and is very nice and helpful! If we ever come back to São Jorge, we know where to stay!

An absolutely amazing stay! The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of Pico Mountain. It’s conveniently close to small grocery shops and charming restaurants, making everything easily accessible. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. This hotel provided the ideal setting to relax and recharge. I loved every moment and will definitely return!

It is an amazing place, peaceful, in front of the ocean and with great sunset and great view of Pico. Breakfast is super and Silvia also prepare homemade dinner for the the guests on request. You see the stars and hear the birds singing. Easy to find and to comunicate with the owner. Great experience.

Dan, our host, was very nice and attentive. We also appreciated the regional produce that had been left for us. The place is very comfortable, with attention paid to every detail, and the enormous terrace with a view of Pico is amazing. A special mention goes to the moka espresso maker which is a rarity - in most other accommodation I have stayed in on the islands, only pod coffee machines were available. The road there is a little tricky at the moment because of ongoing works, but tricky roads are the standard to the fajas in São Jorge. There is a steep path to get to the accommodation, but Dan helped us with our luggage, so that was fine.

This is a lovely property nestled on a hillside in the middle of the countryside. It has lovely views and is really quiet. Dan, the host, is very friendly and helpful. He helped with luggage and gave us advice on what we could do nearby. He provided a lovely welcome basket with bread and local cheese, honey from his neighbour’s bees and fruit from the garden. It was a lovely personal touch. The house was confortable and well equipped. There was air con in the hall and ceiling fans in the bedrooms which kept us comfortable. We enjoyed using the outdoor bbq area which had a roof so the rain didn’t spoil our plans.
