A Cozy, Off-the-Grid Retreat This place has quickly become my favorite getaway. It's incredibly cozy, with no phone or Wi-Fi connection, so you're completely off the grid—perfect for disconnecting from the world. The heat comes from a wood-burning stove, and you can chop your own wood, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I loved every moment of it. The dogs on the property are super cute and friendly, and the owner is welcoming and helpful. While the owner is still learning English, communication was easy enough through a translator, and it worked perfectly. If you're a nature lover looking for peace and quiet, this place is a must-visit. Some of my friends found it challenging to adjust to the lifestyle, but I personally enjoyed every bit of it.

Beautiful apartment, very spacious. Everything inside is new and very well decorated, with a lot nice touches. It’s like you are at home. we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Cathy and Ovi are such a great people . They waited for us, explained everything about Herculane and left for us basket with fresh fruit. Internet was very fast and worked great. Casa Arion is very well located. Everything is on walking distance. 10/10, every recommendation.

My partner and I spent a few wonderful days at Vila Geany and we absolutely loved it. The room was big, very clean, the beds were really comfy and the tarrase/ balcony had an amazing view of the mountains and the river. The neighbourhood was quite, safe and close to the old town, hiking trails and any other place one would like to visit while in Herculane. Doamna Lili was a great host, very attentive, hospitable and gave us some great advice on where to eat, bathe and trails nearby. We highly recommend this guest house and its lovely owners.
