From the first moment we entered Zuri it was perfect. This hotel guarantees perfect relaxation and high quality service from A to Z. We were really charmed by the place. Whether it was the spacious and stylish rooms, the highly professional staff, the high class gastronomy to the point of I would say fine dining cuisine or the private beach right by the Indian Ocean or the swimming pool where one could perfectly relax at any time of the day. There is really nothing in Zuri that is not an experience. If one has the opportunity to come to this hotel one should definitely do it because you will not find a better hotel in Zanzibar, and I dare say not even far and wide.

This is a fantastic place to stay at if you want to celebrate a anniversary. Fantastic Villas with a perfect beach you just can dream of, the best at Zanzibar, and it is real. Very kind, amazing and helpful personal, top service and fantastic good food. The Chefs and restaurants are world class and could easily have a Michelin star. You really feel that you are taking care of. They make sure you get the best relaxing stay and experience. Even the Manager is showing up and make sure you have the BEST stay. You just don’t want to leave… We will absolute come back.

I had a great experience in this hotel. The hotel itself is very new, and you can see that in nicely decorated spacious room with quality furnitures and lots of shelves and racks that are more than enough to store your extra stuff. Room was very clean, housekeeping was professional during my stay. Breakfast was great, wifi was strong enough to browse and check your emails. They even have a generator for power outages that are very common in Kendwa. 10 min walk to beach, which is not big deal, you even find a chance to grab a few groceries at a local store on your way back to hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and always available to ask anything. They even let me check out after 5pm in my last day which made my day so easy as my flight was late in night. I will definitely book Crystal Coast again in my next visit to Kendwa.

I completely recommend this hotel. The room was spacious, the staff was lovely and they cleaned the rooms every day. One of the cleaners, Hassan was exceptional, every time he cleaned the room he left us “messages” on the bed sheets, written by flowers. The Wi-Fi issue we read in many of the reviews was solved on the premises, they just built devices that strengths the wifi connection on the day of our arrival. It worked well in our room as well. Once our AC did not work properly, but we informed the reception and it was fixed by the time we got back from our dinner. The food in the restaurant was delicious and well prepared. Breakfast was OK, they served a variety of fruit every morning. The beach was fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kendwa and definitely we will be back. The staff is amazing, super polite, respectful, good information from the reception from the day we arrived. The sea is absolutely amazing tho a bit wavy but nothing special or for concern. We stayed on the Bungalows and it’s close to everything. The beach is full of beds and you have as well the service button which is amazing you can eat and enjoy the beach at the same time. There is 8 bars so you have plenty to chose and you always have some entertainment. Even if you have kids it’s the perfect place they never get bored. There is a lot of water sports and as well Sky diving that I recommend if you have the courage to do it. Right outside of the hotel you have a few restaurants and a small supermarket in case you need. Every month they have the Full Moon Party that is super cool and if you have the chance try because it is worth.

I want to share my pleasant impressions after staying at Villa Vanilla and express my gratitude to Alex and staff for their care, attention and hospitality. I recommend staying at this hotel. The staff is attentive, always clean and pleasant. We lived on the 3rd floor and there was a gorgeous view of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, snow-white linen, the mattress on the bed is my love, it is perfect) there is air conditioning and a fan. There is always hot water in the shower, in case of a power outage there is a generator. There is also a refrigerator. Breakfast is always fruit, coffee and every day a new dish. Be sure to come to the restaurant on the 4th floor to enjoy the sunset and try seafood, they cook very tasty, and Alex goes to the local fishermen every day and buys fresh fish. The beach is very wide, the tides are not significant, there are practically no sea urchins. Near the hotel there are small grocery stores, an exchanger, an alcohol market, a mini-market and a cafe. But still, I recommend Alex's restaurant, we compared it and it really tastes better than others. We really enjoyed!
