My experience at Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa was undoubtedly the pinnacle of my Zanzibar hotel experiences, featuring what is unquestionably the best beach on the island. Unlike other hotel beaches visited during our trip, including those in Nungwi, here we could enjoy swimming at any time, regardless of the tide’s whims, which was a true delight. The dining experience at Gold Zanzibar was unparalleled, with each dinner made even more special by planned nightly live music and performances that added an unforgettable ambiance. However, it was the extraordinary staff that truly set this experience apart. Among them, Baraza stood out for his extreme politeness, helpfulness, and attentiveness, embodying the exceptional level of service that makes Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa not just a hotel, but a memorable experience. I had a great experience in this hotel. The hotel itself is very new, and you can see that in nicely decorated spacious room with quality furnitures and lots of shelves and racks that are more than enough to store your extra stuff. Room was very clean, housekeeping was professional during my stay. Breakfast was great, wifi was strong enough to browse and check your emails. They even have a generator for power outages that are very common in Kendwa. 10 min walk to beach, which is not big deal, you even find a chance to grab a few groceries at a local store on your way back to hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and always available to ask anything. They even let me check out after 5pm in my last day which made my day so easy as my flight was late in night. I will definitely book Crystal Coast again in my next visit to Kendwa.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kendwa Cool & Calm Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. The owner was very kind, always available, and ready to help with anything we needed. He’s also a great businessman who clearly cares about the guest experience and continues to invest in the hotel, constantly introducing improvements and new features. Each morning started with a royal breakfast that included delicious, fresh fruit – a real treat! The staff were all very friendly, and the waiter created a cheerful atmosphere with his kindness and great sense of humor. His warm attitude made a big difference. The room was always well cleaned, with hot water, a working air conditioner, and a fan, which made our stay very comfortable. Special compliments to the chef – the dinners were outstanding! We tried several restaurants in the area, but the food at the hotel was definitely among the best we had. Every meal was full of flavor and clearly made with care. We truly felt at home during our stay and would absolutely recommend Kendwa Cool & Calm Hotel to anyone visiting the area. It's the perfect mix of comfort, great hospitality, and amazing food. We’d love to come back!

Extremely friendly staff. If you are looking for good food around dont miss the local restaurant on the roof top! Staff is preparing everything excelelntly. If you bring fruit from local market it is also not a problem. Breakfast is very healthy and good quality variety of fruits, eggs or pencakes with local jam. Dont miss out the Villa Vanilla Smoothie ;)

    Everything was good. The manager was very accommodating. We even got a parking close to our room as my husband had a moon boot. Kumar was excellent in making sure our stay was comfortable. Facilities are well looked after. Staff are friendly. Location is also great.
