What can we say about Mahi Mahi? We will never forget the four beautiful days and nights we spent there. Perfect, peaceful location, away from the crowds. Near the village, where you can go around exploring on foot (do it & support the local community!!) Stunning view of the ocean, delicious food, abundant breakfast and very good choices for lunch or dinner - prices of the restaurant more expensive than what you find in local restaurants nearby but still quite affordable. All of the dishes delicious - congratulations to the chef, who btw took the time to come and meet us :) I tried the "chef's special" everyday during breakfast :). Clean, spacious rooms, you wake up and sleep hearing the sound of the sea. Now THAT is a memory to hold on to during winter. Amazing service - thank you Sifa, Skola (special thanks for the on-the-go Swahili lessons to my wife) Justin, Ilias, and I'm SO sorry I forget the names of all the other nice people that made our stay so wonderful, we thank you all! To the owners: keep it real, thank you for everything. We have now moved to another place of the island and can feel the difference in quality! We hope to see you again soon 🤗🤗 Achilles & Vanessa

The hotel was so Ply lovely and amazing. I was so happy that we chose this accommodation. The rooms are beautiful very nice decorated and well thought. The views are amazing and it was a very quite and peaceful place since there are only 13 rooms or something. The pool is huge and the beach setting wonderful. The service was extremely good. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and well trained. The food definitely great as well. The manager , a very friendly Italian person is always around and gives everyone a good feeling, very familiar atmosphere. We loved it and would recommended it warmly !

Our stay at the Zen Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar was absolutely fantastic! The hotel complex features beautiful bungalows that are both stylish and comfortable, providing a true oasis of tranquility. The rooms were impeccably maintained and the housekeeping staff ensured they were cleaned twice daily, which made our stay even more pleasant. The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes, and each meal was a culinary delight. The pool area was another highlight, offering a serene environment perfect for relaxation. Additionally, the hotel offers a variety of tours and activities, making it easy to explore the beauty of Zanzibar. What truly sets Zen Boutique Hotel apart is the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every wish, ensuring a personalized and unforgettable experience. Sarah and her husband in particular, who own the hotel, made us feel as if we were at home, gave us tips and took time for us. We felt truly pampered throughout our stay. Most incredible hotel. We loved the way the hotel front doors open to help open up the space even more. the rooms were perfect, with great products in the bath room & the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast each day was great & we didn’t need to go & anywhere else.

We loved this place. Beautiful gardens, two pools so naturally one attracts the adults that want to relax and one families with kids. Hosts and all the staff super friendly. Spacious apartments with kitchen, lovely breakfast, short walk to the beach. You get some free water at the start and then just 5€ for big bottle so you never have to worry about water and plastic waste which was otherwise bit of an issue for rest of our Zanzibar trip. We had great time and would definitely come back.
